It appears that during various operations and ERS operations, Norman wears his fully functional MARK VIII TacOps Suit.

It includes a set of Night-Vision Tri-Goggles, capable of Thermal and Sonar Scanning.

Fact :The Multi-Vision Goggles, made of a highly-concentrated Plexiglass that are nearly impossible to shatter, are designed to allow Norman to maintain his vision in all potential environments while on a mission in a largely unknown sector. The most recent standard models ("tridents") allow for three different fields of vision: Night, Thermal Imaging/Infrared (IR), and Electromagnetic Field (EMF).

Proceeds with properly CAMO'ed MARK VIII TacOps torso and pants, where as it was made of DARPA DragonSkin, allowing the suit to stick and fit tightly to the skin and reduce the noise produced by clothing as much as possible.

Fact : It has a weight of 4 pounds (unloaded - whole suit) and a thickness of 8 millimeters (1/4 inches). The fabric of the suit is interwoven with Kevlar (outer layer), RhinoPlate (core material), and made of seventh generation Gore-Tex (inner layer), allowing it to reduce damage caused by bullets with relatively low velocity, such as pistol rounds and assault rifle rounds fired from long range, though it is relatively weak against bullets from closer ranges, as they maintain a faster velocity, and more power, and shrapnel from 12 feet.

Norman also has various advanced-tech gadgets on his disposal, yet, it's relatively rarely seen that he brings them around the prison perimeter.

Starting with his own invention recon Tri-Rotor.

Fact : The Tri-Rotor is a self-developed remote-controlled drone made by Norman M. Jayden, used for recon and covert operations intelligence gathering controlled via the user's Operational Satellite Watch. It is designed with minimized noise to avoid detection and can be outfitted with a series of gadgets for both non-lethal stealth encounters and assault means. Such as stalking the tangos from a relatively far distance,or disabling electronic devices with the included EMP charge, or may be used for self-destruction to damage crowded groups of enemies.

His low-frequency sticky cameras.

Fact : The sticky camera has a special place in Norman's arsenal of gadgets. It can be used to mark enemies, lure enemies with the noisemaker and kill enemies with an explosion that self-destructs the camera, but does not have any special vision capability nor a canister of knockout gas. It is useful for Norman when he requires a more tactical advantage over their enemies for stealthy inflitration.

Sticky Electromagnetic Pulse Device.

Fact : The Sticky EMP delivers a localized electromagnetic pulse, disabling lights and security devices nearby connected with an electrical subsystem for a short period of time. The Sticky EMP can be used to create shadow paths to hide from hostiles, or target power boxes near laser trip wires to disable them. Hostiles are unaffected by the pulse. Norman's essential choice for infiltration on a compound.

Sticky Noisemaker.

Fact : The Sticky Noisemaker is a variant of the Sticky Camera, it is a device shaped like a small baseball with speakers positioned around it and covered in a adhesive material used to stick to surfaces. Once thrown and impacting an object, it will create a noise automatically but cannot be recovered and used again. This makes it a very useful device for Recon operations or stealthy approaches.

Various types of lethal and non-lethal grenades.

Fact : In total, Norman has six different types of grenades at his disposal. Tear gas,sleeping gas,flashbang,fragmentation,incendiary and finally, smoke grenades.
