  Hunter was born to a rich businessman and his obsessive wife. Hunter lived a privileged life until the age of 15 when his father was shot and incapacitated by an unknown group. His father was prisoned to a wheelchair and could barely move. His mother divorced him and just left, Hunter not seeing her ever again. Although all of these events would be devastating for a 15 year old, Hunter didn't give up and decided to take on his father's footsteps. He learnt that his father was a member of the Clerkenwell Crime Syndicate and a high-ranked one too. He joined the Clerkenwell Syndicate and swiftly rose through the ranks when he finally learnt who his father's murderers were. They were Tam McGraw's goons, trying to avenge a hit on one of their members. He went after the murderers, hunting them down one by one except for the last one, Thomas McGraw himself. He stabbed McGraw several times on his arms, chest and several other areas. Seeing McGraw bleed on the ground, he thought he was dead. He escaped without being identified by anyone and went into hiding. McGraw survived because of a bulletproof vest.

  Years after McGraw's murder, Hunter moved to the USA to forget his past, but old habits did not leave him. He worked with the Genovese Crime Family, and eventually got arrested due to the murder of several Lucchese Family associates. He was then transferred to the Blueberry Maximum Security Prison.

Dustin Blackburn: Dustin "welcomed" him to the family in a rather unorthodox fashion. Hunter doesn't mind and is glad that he's living and actually in the family now.
David Richardson: He thinks David interferes a lot with the Blackburns' businesses, he has also snooped in Scarlett and Hunter's private relationship, and Hunter does not appreciate it.
Helena Blackburn: He doesn't know much about Helena, though he likes her as a person due to her family. She has helped prevent Dustin from killing Hunter.
Daniel J. Donegan: He doesn't know much about Daniel, so he can't decide yet.
Katie Fowler: Hunter hated Katie at first, but then after hearing her story, he decided not to think of it. He still despises Katie's action against Scarlett though.
Scarlett Blackburn: Hunter loves Scarlett. The two have shared some intimate time together and Hunter feels close to her, appreciating and enjoying her personality.
Sebastian Williams: Hunter doesn't know much about him, they've just met.
