No health lose during mealtime.

I suggest to remove the hunger loss once the mealtime script initiates. Just now I just barely made It to the cafeteria. I already managed to die twice because i weren't not bunnyhopping and was running towards the cafeteria from outside the courtyard which is quite the distance. I need to exit and enter several interiors which also requires some time on my machine. I think that hunger should just be role played or be the only way to heal, that way it will motivate players to get their mealtime. Alternatively inmates could be sent over to the cafeteria by the guards just like in the real world.

If you wouldn't lose any hp the cafeteria would be pretty much always empty. It's realistic as you have to eat something in rl or else you will die.
In my opinion it's perfect now because it initates roleplay.

Well I guess we a rather 5 minute notice before mealtime would be nice so players would actually gather up there to avoid starvation deaths, but thats a key element so players actually attend to that event, Where some interesting RPs can occur. maybe slowing the rate would be nice too.

Well a notification of food will be served in 5 minutes should do it.
But I somewhat agree on the suggestion. What if you want to use the mealtime to escape as most guards would be in the cafeteria?

Maybe you will just lose some hp in the end (-25%) if you haven't taken your meal

Also 15 minutes of meal time is way too long. I haven't seen a meal time that didn't end in a massive dm fest yet.

It doesn't initiate roleplay at all since players MUST drop whatever they are doing and rush off to the cafeteria.

Well I guess we a rather 5 minute notice before mealtime would be nice so players would actually gather up there to avoid starvation deaths, but thats a key element so players actually attend to that event, Where some interesting RPs can occur. maybe slowing the rate would be nice too.

A notification like: 'You're starting to feel hungry' would definitely work as it hints inmates to head over to the cafeteria and await their mealtime. The health decrease rate is also insanely high. Like I said, I've died twice to it already within my first playing hours.

Indeed it's limiting roleplay and forcing players to go somewhere whilst they could be doing something interesting like a prison break or a casual roleplay you just cannot simply run away from.

Also want to add, we were detaining a couple inmates, we were questioning them before we would have isolated them. However they died from having no food.
One day of not eating won't kill you.

Meal Time over a chance for player to Roleplay together and bringin them to one places, but as we know the problem lies with getting into the cafetaria, while i agree with most that 5 min time mark should be added, i think another 3 min time mark should be added too, that way player that are soo busy with Roleplaying have chance to be notified of the coming meal time, anyway i fully agreed that the rate of health decrease should be lowered considering how fast you die from it.

Thank you for your suggestion but we can't do that, We will have to work on a better notification system for the meal time, like some of you suggested: 5 minutes before it starts, and using more messages, styles and brighter colors. Maybe even sound effects.
